Privacy Policy

Grounded Vigilance Training Group, LLC · Effective April 25, 2026

Grounded Vigilance Training Group, LLC ("Grounded Vigilance," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit groundedvigilance.com or register for one of our courses, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use our website, and information from third-party services we work with.

Information you provide directly

Payment information

Course payments are processed by Stripe. When you enter your payment details, that information goes directly to Stripe over a secure connection — we do not see, store, or have access to your full card number, CVC, or bank account details. Stripe provides us with limited information about each transaction (such as the last four digits of the card, the amount, and the transaction status) so we can confirm your registration. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

Information collected automatically

Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies or fingerprint individual visitors. It tells us things like how many people visited a page, what country traffic came from, and which referring sites send us visitors — but it does not identify you personally. Cloudflare also processes basic technical information (such as IP address and request headers) for security, fraud prevention, and to deliver the site to you. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

How We Use Information

Third-Party Services We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate our business. We do not sell your personal information.

ServiceWhat we shareWhy
Stripe Name, email, payment details (collected directly by Stripe) Process course payments
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) Email address, name (if provided), subscription preferences Send course updates and newsletters
Cloudflare IP address, technical request data, aggregated analytics Host the site, deliver it securely, prevent abuse

We may also share information when required by law (for example, in response to a valid subpoena or court order), to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies and Tracking

Our own website does not set tracking cookies. Some third-party services we link to (such as Stripe's checkout pages) may set cookies necessary for their functionality. We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep registration and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements (typically 7 years for financial records). Email-list subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Email correspondence is generally retained for the period needed to address the matter and any reasonable follow-up.

Your Choices and Rights

You have several choices regarding your information:

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of personal information, to correct inaccurate personal information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address below.

EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR): If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. The legal bases on which we process personal data are: performance of a contract (registering you for and delivering courses), our legitimate interests (operating and securing our business), your consent (newsletter signups), and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Participants under 18 may attend our courses only with the involvement of a parent or guardian as described in our Terms of Service; in those cases, the parent or guardian provides the relevant personal information on the minor's behalf. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without proper authorization, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption for all site traffic, security headers, and limiting access to information on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted to us.

International Visitors

Grounded Vigilance is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
